The Judgment (彖)
The Clinging. Perseverance furthers. It brings success. Care of the cow brings good fortune.
The Image (象)
That which is bright rises twice: the image of Fire. The great person perpetuates brightness and illuminates the four quarters.
Meaning
Fire clings to fuel to burn — it depends on something to sustain it. Clarity and intelligence that attach to what is right and good. Brilliance sustained through devotion to worthy things.
Advice
Attach yourself to what is good and true. Your brilliance needs proper fuel — devote your clarity to worthy causes. Gentle persistence, like tending a cow, sustains the flame.
