I Ching Oracle — Book of Changes
The I Ching (易经) is China's 3000-year-old oracle of 64 hexagrams. Focus on your question, cast the coins, and receive ancient philosophical guidance.
The I Ching responds best to open-ended questions about situations, not yes/no questions.
How It Works
The I Ching uses a coin-casting method to generate six lines (either solid or broken), forming a hexagram — one of 64 archetypal situations described in the Book of Changes.
Three coins are tossed six times. Heads count as 3, tails as 2. The total (6, 7, 8, or 9) determines each line type and whether it is "changing."
The resulting hexagram offers guidance not as prediction, but as a mirror reflecting the patterns and dynamics of your current situation.
