What Data We Collect

We collect minimal data:

  • Birth date/time for BaZi calculations — stored locally in your browser (localStorage). We do not send this data to our servers.
  • Quiz answers (body type, etc.) — processed entirely in your browser and not stored anywhere.
  • Email address — only if you voluntarily sign up for our newsletter.

We Don't Sell Your Data

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Period.

Cookies & Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics (such as Plausible) that do not use cookies or track individual users. We do not use tracking cookies, Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, or any invasive tracking technology.

Third-Party Services

  • Stripe — processes payments for premium features. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data handling.
  • Analytics provider — privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics for understanding page views and traffic sources.

Affiliate Links

When you click affiliate links (e.g., to iHerb, Amazon), your navigation data is shared with the affiliate partner. This is standard affiliate tracking — we do not control what data those partners collect after you leave our site.

Face Reading (If Applicable)

If a face reading feature is added in the future, no photos will be stored on our servers. Any image processing will happen locally in your browser.

Data Retention

We practice minimal data retention. Birth charts and quiz results are stored only in your browser's local storage — not on our servers. Newsletter emails are retained until you unsubscribe.

GDPR & CCPA Compliance

Since we store almost no personal data server-side, most data rights requests are automatically satisfied. However, you have the right to:

  • Request deletion of any data we hold (primarily newsletter email)
  • Access any personal data we have about you
  • Opt out of any data collection
